What could be the Underlying Cause of Primary Hypertension?

Huang Wei Ling

Introduction: Primary hypertension (PI) is high-blood pressure with no known secondary cause. In secondary hypertension, there is an identifiable cause, such as kidney disease. In Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), PI is caused by energy imbalances, such as Liver, Heart, Stomach Fire and Phlegm retention, correspondent to imbalances of the first, third and fifth chakras centers of energy. Purpose: The purpose of this study is to demonstrate the existence of an energy-detectable cause for primary hypertension, which cannot be seen in laboratorial exams. Normally, in a progression from health to disease, the laboratorial exams are only altered in the last phases (4 and 5) of disease’s progression.
